4Great for an Inspector, And the Best Non-Essential Tool for the Rest of Us, Ever
By M. Hill
Attached are a nine photographs beneath client images on the product page (left hand side of page – click view and percentage images) which reflect what I saw in respective apps using the tool and snapping pictures with the built-in camera. These photographs were stored on the mini-SD card which is not included with the camera but readily available at minimal expense. I think I salaried $18 for an 4 GB mini card at a huge box store. Comparing what I saw on the video screen with the photographs I captured, reflected a great deal of degradation in quality. In use, the screen shows a clearer effigy for the user.

5Impressive and full featured inspection camera.
By A Change Would Do You Good
As is typical, Dewalt housed this camera in a habit case with carrying handle. The unit may be stored in the case to a complete degree assembled, or in varying stages of assembly. There is a little compartment with a door for the hook and magnet attachments. The charger is stored on it is side in the case. It would be nice if it stored flat in the case so you wouldn’t have to remove it for charging. Some of the Rigid Tool cases are set up this way and I find it to be efficient.

4Never knew I could use this!
By mellion108
Full disclosure: I’m just a homeowner. I don’t work in a profession requiring an inspection camera, and I don’t do sufficient of my own home repairs to genuinely warrant having such a gadget.

But, oh my, this little gadget is awesome! Even a relative technophobe like me was competent to set this camera up rather quickly. The directions are so easy to follow. It took me a bit of exercise to get the hang of moving the camera, using the hook and magnet accessories, and figuring out what the heck I was looking at through the breathtakingly clear camera screen, but this actually is a foolproof gadget. I think most persons would be capable to pick this up and commence using it pretty quickly.

I was marveling regarding a water stain that I noticed on the drop ceiling in my basement. I could not figure out the source of the water. This camera was so handy and helped me to see spots that I couldn’t view on my own. I likewise employed this in a drain in the basement (ok, that was disgusting) and figured out what was causing a heap of backups around the drain.

Although this isn’t an item that I would buy for myself, I’m glad that I have it. It’s commodious and very easy to use. I may already see that it will get a lot of use as a loaner to friends and family, and my next project involves taking a peek into the heating vents in my very, very old home. The short review: Rather highpriced but this gadget is convenient, easy to use, and will concede me to check out a lot of problem areas of my house before I spend far too much cash on a repair person to just give me an estimate.
